We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst who can sit between US healthcare payer and provider business stakeholders and an offshore ETL engineering pod, and turn ambiguous business asks into accurate, buildable specifications. The role spans requirement elicitation, source-to-target mapping, business validation logic, UAT ownership, and stakeholder-facing reporting across an enterprise data warehouse an enterprise Operational Data Store, and the downstream extract and BI layers.
This is a hands-on analyst role, not a coordination role. You will profile data yourself in SQL, read ETL job logic, and defend your specifications in front of both the business and the development team.
Key Responsibilities
Requirement to specification.



Elicit requirements from business and clinical stakeholders and convert them into BRDs, functional specifications, source-to-target mapping (STTM) documents, and testable acceptance criteria that developers can build from without re-interpretation.
Source-to-target mapping and impact analysis. Produce and maintain mapping and business-requirement documentation for data extracts, including impact analysis for schema, entity, and source-system changes.
Business validation (BV) logic. Define the Landing Zone to Persistent Layers reconciliation and business validation rules executed by the ETL BV framework, and investigate count and value mismatches jointly with the development team.
Data analysis and profiling. Write and tune complex SQL to profile source data, validate transformation logic, quantify defect impact, and answer stakeholder data questions independently.
Reporting and visualization. Partner with BI developers on Tableau / Po
