Role: Java API Management & Microservices Lead

Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled Java API Management & Microservices Lead with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and managing enterprise-grade APIs and microservices-based applications. The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, API Management platforms, cloud technologies, and modern application architecture.

Key Responsibilities :
• Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and manage RESTful APIs following enterprise security and governance standards.
• Implement API lifecycle management using API Management platforms such as Apigee, Kong, MuleSoft, IBM API Connect, or Azure API Management.
• Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and development teams to define API strategies and integrations.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.




• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across distributed systems.
• Mentor team members and drive technical excellence.

Required Skills :
• Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Microservices Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with API Management platforms (Apigee, Azure APIM, Kong, MuleSoft, IBM API Connect, etc.).
• Expertise in REST APIs, JSON, OAuth 2.0, JWT, OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, caching, messaging systems, and API security.
• Experience with databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.

Preferred Skills :
• Exposure to Event-Driven Architecture and Kafka.
• Experience in BFSI domain applications.
• Knowledge of observability tools such as Splunk, Grafana, ELK, or Dynatrace.
