Redhat Linux troubleshooting and Monitoring and Linux installation and configuration

Role Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Linux Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have solid technical skills and experience in managing and supporting Linux Servers including new server

provisioning, Hardening,



patching in day-to-day operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure that appropriate space is available in the Operating system.
• Regular proactive purging of Log files as per the CUSTOMER Security Policy. The frequency as

well as the files to be purged has to be recommended by the Customer Security

• Implement Proactive patch upgrades, if any, recommendation from RHEL
• Performance monitoring as per the mutually agreed metrics between Customer and HP using the

tool made available by Customer.

• End to end coordination with the Red hat, HP backend & Customer teams for the

proactive patches/OS patches/upgrades, Firmware updates, Installation/reinstallation, configuration/reconfiguration, corrective & preventive maintenance as per the terms Mentioned in the SLA.

• Proper follow-up for Incident/Change management as per the defined policy by CUSTOMER

Monitor the Operating system logs for any errors in the op
