Role Overview
As the Category Head – Delhi NCR, you will be responsible for building and scaling categories for the Delhi NCR market. You will work closely with the Head of Category (HOC) and cross-functional teams to understand customer demand, build the right assortment, drive category growth, and improve business performance.
What You'll Do
• Own the performance and growth of assigned categories in Delhi NCR.
• Build the right assortment and SKU mix based on customer demand, sales, margins, and availability.
• Understand Delhi NCR customer behaviour and identify local category and product opportunities.
• Analyse SKU and category performance to identify what to scale, improve, or discontinue.
• Work on pricing, promotions, assortment,
and category-level initiatives.
• Partner closely with Procurement, Operations, Supply Chain, Growth, Product, and Marketing teams.
• Work with the HOC to develop and execute the broader category strategy.
• Identify gaps in availability, pricing, assortment, and customer experience and drive solutions.
• Track key category metrics including orders, revenue, margins, availability, AOV, and SKU productivity.
• Run experiments to improve category growth and profitability.
• Help launch and scale new categories across Delhi NCR.
• Build strong operating mechanisms to monitor category performance and drive continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
• 5+ years of experience in category management, business, growth, e-commerce, quick commerce, food delivery, D2C, retail, or a similar consumer business.
• Strong NCR geography understanding - 3 years of experience in NCR/ localite
