Role Description The Senior Accountant role is a full-time, remote position responsible for delivering high-quality accounting services to UK and international clients, primarily in partnership with accounting practices. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing bookkeeping entries, VAT returns, year-end accounts, tax computations and returns, and management reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. The Senior Accountant will oversee reconciliations, maintain general ledgers, analyze financial data,



and support month-end and year-end closing processes. This role also involves reviewing the work of junior team members, providing guidance, and contributing to process improvements and best practices. The Senior Accountant will collaborate closely with client-facing teams, maintain clear documentation, and uphold service-level expectations while working efficiently in a remote setting.
Qualifications
• Strong technical accounting skills in areas such as bookkeeping, general ledger management, reconciliations, VAT, year-end accounts, tax returns, and management reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (such as Tally, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, including reviewing financial data for accuracy, identifying discrepancies, and recommending corrective actions.
• Effective communication and collaboration
