Key Responsibilities and Duties
• Develop and maintain APIs, tools and capabilities to centralise data events.
• Solve technical problems to improve our development process, increase our efficiency and unlock new business opportunities.
• Contribute to technical discussion around software architecture and help the team to make decisions that are agile, incremental and beneficial for the long term
• Systematically identify patterns and underlying issues in complex situations, and to find solutions by applying logical and analytical thinking
• Provide reliable and well defined solutions to simplify and accelerate business decisions as well as strengthen the integrity of our payment pipelines.
The job requirements
• Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in software engineering with strong knowledge of at least one language like Java (Preferrable), Python or Golang.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field or 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the specialty as equivalent
• Proven experience with System Design and Software Architecture
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience working with teams located in different timezones is a plus
• Experience with Reliability, Site Reliability, Observability and Monitoring is a strong plus
