Business Analyst / Product Owner-P&C; Insurance

Role Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned Business Analyst / Product Owner with strong Property & Casualty (P&C;) insurance domain expertise to drive business and product initiatives across the insurance lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will go beyond traditional requirements gathering and demonstrate a strong product mindset, ownership, strategic thinking, and innovation orientation. The role will involve understanding business and customer needs, shaping product direction, identifying opportunities for improvement, and translating business vision into actionable product outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Own and drive business/product initiatives across the P&C; insurance domain, from ideation through implementation.
• Develop a strong understanding of P&C; insurance products, processes, customer journeys, and business challenges.
• Partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, and leadership to define product vision, priorities, and roadmap.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, product enhancement,



automation, and innovation.
• Translate business objectives and customer needs into transparent product requirements, user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead requirement discovery through workshops, stakeholder discussions, process analysis, and data-driven insights.
• Prioritize requirements based on business value, customer impact, feasibility, and strategic objectives.
• Work closely with engineering and delivery teams throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure the intended business outcomes are achieved.
• Act as a strong business/product advocate, challenging existing processes and bringing forward new ideas and solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across underwriting, claims, policy administration, distribution, billing, and other relevant P&C; functions.
