Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Executive role based in Chennai. The Business Development Executive will identify and pursue new business opportunities, onboard and manage retailers and suppliers, and build strong long-term relationships in assigned territories. Responsibilities include generating qualified leads,



conducting market research, presenting udaan’s value proposition, and driving conversions across relevant product categories. The role involves regular client meetings, negotiation of commercial terms, coordination with internal operations and finance teams, and tracking performance metrics to meet sales and growth targets. The Executive will also provide feedback from the market to improve offerings and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications

• Solid New Business Development and Lead Generation skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and convert them into sustainable business.
• Solid understanding of Business and commercial acumen, including basic knowledge of B2B trade, supply chain, and market dynamics.
• Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to present, negotiate, and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
