About the Role
We are looking for a Finance Executive – Fresher to support the day-to-day finance and accounting operations of the organization. The candidate will be responsible for billing, accounting entries, GST-related activities, payment tracking, reconciliation, documentation, and maintaining accurate financial records.
This role is ideal for a B.Com/M.Com graduate who wants to build practical experience in finance and accounts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Record day-to-day financial transactions in the accounting system.
- Maintain purchase, sales, expense, receipt, and payment records.
- Pass journal, sales, purchase, receipt, and payment entries.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Assist in maintaining the General Ledger and supporting schedules.
2. Billing & Invoicing
- Prepare and issue customer invoices as per approved quotations/orders.
- Verify invoice details including GST, HSN/SAC codes, quantities, prices, and payment terms.
- Maintain invoice records and ensure timely submission to customers.
- Coordinate with the sales and operations teams for billing requirements.
- Track outstanding invoices and customer receivables.
3. GST & Statutory Compliance
- Assist in preparation and filing of GST returns under the supervision of the Finance Manager/CA.
- Maintain GST-related records and documentation.
- Reconcile sales invoices with GST records.
- Assist with GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and other applicable GST compliance activities.
- Verify Input Tax Credit (ITC) and assist with purchase/GST reconciliation.
- Support statutory compliance and documentation as required.
4. Bank & Account Reconciliation
- Record and verify bank transactions.
- Perform regular Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
