Role Description The Academic Counselor role at UNext Learning is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The Academic Counselor will guide prospective and current learners in selecting suitable online programs aligned with their academic background, interests, and career goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions,
explaining program structures and outcomes, addressing learner queries, and supporting learners through the admission and enrollment processes. The role involves maintaining accurate records of learner interactions, collaborating with internal teams to improve learner experience, and providing regular follow-up to ensure learner engagement and satisfaction. The Academic Counselor will also contribute insights on learner needs to help refine academic offerings and support services.
Qualifications
• Robust learner-focused guidance skills, including Student Counseling and Academic Advising.
• Career development support capabilities, including Career Counseling and understanding of Education pathways.
• Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with diverse learners and stakeholders.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in academic counseling, student services, or education advisor
