We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SAP Basis & System Management Engineer to support the maintenance, stability, and continuous improvement of our SAP S/4HANA landscape, hosted on Rise with SAP. The ideal candidate brings solid technical expertise in SAP Basis administration, takes ownership of their work, operates with a service management mindset, and is comfortable leveraging modern AI-powered tools to work more effectively. This role collaborates closely with the CORE SAP S/4HANA Program and global IT Operations teams.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

Core Basis Operations:Manage and administer SAP S/4HANA Basis components, including system monitoring, performance tuning, job scheduling, output management, and troubleshooting within the Rise with SAP operating model.Monitor and support system performance and availability, proactively identifying and addressing issues to ensure a stable and reliable SAP environment in alignment with Rise with SAP service standards.Ensure SAP system configurations and operations adhere to internal security policies,



compliance requirements, and audit standards, supporting a secure and controlled SAP workplace.

Lifecycle Management: Support the planning and execution of system upgrades, refreshes, patches, migration activities, and system copies while adhering to best practices and minimizing downtime.

Service Management:Take ownership of SAP Basis-related incidents and service requests — actively investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in alignment with ITIL-based service management practices, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to SLA commitmentsSupport root cause analysis and problem management for recurring or complex technical issues, contributing to permanent resolution and knowledge documentation
