Role Description This is a full-time, in office Purchase Engineer role based in Indore. The Purchase Engineer will manage end-to-end purchasing activities, including evaluating requirements, sourcing suppliers, and ensuring timely procurement of steel reels and related materials. Responsibilities include preparing and tracking purchase orders, negotiating with vendors for cost-effective and quality supplies, and coordinating with production, logistics, and quality teams to maintain inventory levels.



The role involves analyzing purchasing data, monitoring supplier performance, and contributing to continuous improvement of purchase processes and planning. The Purchase Engineer will also support compliance with company policies and industry standards to ensure reliable supply and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of purchasing processes and purchase management, with experience handling industrial or manufacturing procurement.
• Ability to perform purchase planning and manage purchase orders, including documentation, tracking, and follow-up.
• Solid analytical skills for cost analysis, supplier evaluation, and optimization of purchasing decisions.
• Familiarity with vendor development, sourcing of steel or mechanical components, and basic understanding of manufacturing workflows.
• Proficiency with ERP or purchasing software, MS Office (especially Excel), and data reporting tools.
