We are looking to hire Patent Associates / Senior Associates with relevant experience in patent law and a robust technical background.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct Patent Prior Art Searches, Patent Invalidity Searches and other patent-related research.
• Draft and review Patent Applications, specifications and related documents.
• Handle Patent Prosecution before the Indian Patent Office.
• Assist with Patent Infringement analysis and related matters.
• Analyse technical inventions and assess patentability, novelty and inventive step.
• Conduct detailed technical and legal research and prepare clear, well-structured reports.
• Work closely with clients, inventors and internal teams on patent matters.

Eligibility & Preferred Profile
• Mandatory: Registered Indian Patent Agent.
• Experience:



Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience with a law firm / IP law firm.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
• Computer Science / Information Technology
• Electronics / Telecommunication
• Physics
• Mechanical Engineering
• Chemical Engineering / Chemistry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to technical and legal detail.
• Ability to independently handle patent research, drafting and prosecution assignments.

Location-wise Requirements
Mumbai / Bangalore / Chennai:
Candidates with a background in Computer Science, Information Technology or Physics.
Chennai:
Candidates with a background in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
