About the RoleDRS World School, Shamshabad, is looking for an experienced and visionary IB Principal to lead the school’s academic and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of leadership experience with strong exposure to the IB PYP, MYP and DP frameworks.
Key Responsibilities• Provide strategic academic and institutional leadership across the school.
• Lead the effective implementation and continuous improvement of IB PYP, MYP and DP programmes.
• Develop and execute academic strategies aligned with IB standards and practices.
• Mentor, guide and develop teachers and academic leaders.
• Drive a culture of inquiry, collaboration, innovation and lifelong learning.
• Monitor teaching, learning, assessment and student outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with IB programme standards, policies and requirements.
• Build strong relationships with students, parents, teachers and the wider school community.




• Lead school improvement initiatives and support accreditation/evaluation processes.
• Oversee academic planning, staff development and curriculum implementation.
• Promote student wellbeing, inclusion and holistic development.

Candidate Profile• 5+ years of experience in a school leadership role, preferably as Principal, Vice Principal, Head of School or equivalent.
• Strong experience with IB PYP, MYP and DP programmes.
• Proven track record of leading academic teams and school-wide initiatives.
• Strong understanding of IB philosophy, curriculum frameworks and assessment practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, mentoring and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to build high-performing teams and foster a positive school culture.
• A postgraduate degree in Education or a relevant discipline is preferred.
• B.Ed. / equivalent teaching qualification is preferred.
