Role Description This is a full time remote role for a Senior Consultant at Taxcart. The Senior Consultant will advise clients on configuring and optimizing Taxcart’s global tax engine within their commerce, invoicing, and ERP workflows. Responsibilities include assessing client requirements, designing implementation plans, leading onboarding projects, and providing ongoing strategic guidance on tax compliance and process efficiency. The role involves collaborating with product, engineering,
and support teams to resolve complex issues, improve client experiences, and contribute to best practices and documentation. The Senior Consultant will also help identify opportunities for product enhancements based on client feedback and emerging tax regulations.
Qualifications
• Experience in tax consulting or indirect tax (sales tax, VAT, GST), with proven ability to interpret and apply global tax rules to business scenarios.
• Background in implementing or integrating tax engines, ERP systems, or financial software, and working with technical teams on solution design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to diagnose complex client issues and propose pragmatic, scalable solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience leading client workshops, training sessions, and presentations.
