Shrikant Steel Centre is looking for an accomplished International Business Development Director to lead the expansion of our export business.

This role is exclusively focused on developing international markets, acquiring overseas customers and increasing export revenue. We are seeking a commercially driven leader with proven experience in global B2B sales, particularly within steel, piping materials, engineering products or related industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s international sales and export-growth strategy
• Identify and enter high-potential countries, regions and industry segments
• Acquire overseas customers, including EPC companies, oil and gas companies, refineries, petrochemical plants, power plants, distributors and industrial buyers
• Build relationships with international procurement teams, consultants, contractors and decision-makers




• Drive vendor registrations and prequalification with major international organisations
• Identify and participate in global tenders, projects and high-value enquiries
• Manage the complete export-sales cyclefrom prospecting and technical-commercial quotations to negotiation and order closure
• Develop international distributors, agents and strategic channel partners
• Strengthen relationships with existing customers and increase repeat export business
• Lead commercial negotiations involving pricing, payment terms, Incoterms, letters of credit and contractual conditions
• Build and manage a strong international sales pipeline with accurate forecasts
• Lead, mentor and monitor the export business-development team
• Represent the company at international exhibitions, trade delegations and customer meetings
• Track global market trends, competitor activities, upcoming projects and customer requirements
• Work closely with sourcing, operation
