Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Financials Functional Consultant to support the ongoing rollout of our retail POS solution across multiple international territories. The role will focus on the enhancements and integrations delivered within Oracle Financials as part of the POS transformation programme, ensuring these capabilities are successfully extended and adapted to support new country deployments.
The consultant will provide functional expertise across POS integration, bank reconciliation, statement enrichment, cash lodgement processing, and financial transaction traceability. Working closely with Finance, Retail Operations, Treasury, Banking Partners, Integration Teams, and Solution Architects, the successful candidate will assess country-specific requirements, define required changes, and support the implementation of enhancements to existing Oracle Financials integrations and reconciliation processes.
This is not a general Oracle Financials support role. The focus is on the continued evolution of the POS-to-Finance solution,
supporting both optimisation of existing enhancements and the delivery of new functionality required for additional territories.
Key Responsibilities
Country Rollout & Localisation
• Support the rollout of the POS solution into recent countries and territories.
• Review country-specific business and banking requirements and assess impacts to existing Oracle Financials integrations and reconciliation processes.
• Define localisation requirements for payment methods, banking references, cash management, reconciliation and accounting treatments.
• Ensure new country requirements align with the established global solution design and control framework.
Oracle Financials Enhancement Delivery
• Act as the functional SME for Oracle Financials enhancements delivered as part of the POS transformation programme.
• Assess and implement changes required to support new territories and evolving business requirements.
