Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata for a Business Content Research and Writing professional. The role involves tracking key business and market developments, conducting thorough research on assigned topics, and identifying credible data and sources. The person in this role will analyze business stories, distill complex information into clear narratives, and write concise, engaging content for daily publication.



Responsibilities include collaborating with editors to refine story angles, fact-checking and validating information, and ensuring content aligns with ReadOn’s unbiased and non-boring editorial style. The role also requires ongoing monitoring of business trends, contributing ideas for new coverage, and maintaining consistent output under tight deadlines.

Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Market Research and Research skills for gathering, validating, and synthesizing business information.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for interpreting data, identifying trends, and drawing clear, evidence-based conclusions.
• Candidates should possess effective Writing and Communication skills for producing explicit, engaging, and unbiased business content.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Journalism, or a related field are beneficial. CFA is a plus.
