Horizon Sustainability is seeking an experienced Senior Associate - Setting to join our environmental consulting team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in environmental assessments, regulatory compliance, sustainability studies, and project execution. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on projects across India.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the preparation and review of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports and Environmental Management Plans (EMP).
• Manage Environmental Clearance (EC) applications and EC Compliance submissions.
• Prepare and review Consent to Establish (CTE) and Consent to Operate (CTO) documentation.
• Conduct environmental compliance audits and regulatory assessments.
• Lead Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) studies and sustainability evaluations.
• Plan and execute Heat Stress Analysis and occupational environmental studies.
• Prepare and review Conceptual Plans,
Detailed Project Reports (DPR/DCP), and related technical documents.
• Conduct Traffic Impact Assessments and Traffic Studies for various development projects.
• Analyze environmental monitoring data related to air, water, noise, soil, waste management, and occupational health.
• Support ESG reporting, sustainability initiatives, and environmental performance assessments.
• Coordinate with clients, laboratories, regulatory authorities, and project stakeholders.
• Review technical reports prepared by junior team members and provide guidance where required.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining high technical and regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Remote Sensing & GIS, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering or a related field.
