Role Description The Assistant Professor of Commerce (Statistics) will engage in full-time, in office teaching and academic responsibilities at the Bengaluru campus. Day-to-day tasks include delivering lectures in commerce and statistics, designing and updating course materials, guiding tutorials and practical sessions, and evaluating student performance through assignments, projects,



and examinations. The role involves mentoring students on academic and career development, supervising research or applied projects where relevant, and contributing to curriculum development that aligns with contemporary industry and academic standards. The Assistant Professor will participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and university initiatives, and is expected to pursue scholarly activities such as research, publications, and conference participation.
Qualifications
• Advanced academic background in Commerce with specialization in Statistics (Ph.D, Master’s degree such as M.Sc. in Statistics and B.Sc. in statistics is mandatory
• Proficiency in using MS Excel, Power BI ,tally and SPSS software
• Demonstrated teaching aptitude, with the ability to design clear lesson plans, deliver engaging lectures, and assess student learning effectively at undergraduate and/or postgraduate
