Role Description The Area Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in West Bengal, India. This role is responsible for achieving sales targets, driving market penetration, and managing distributor and retail networks within the assigned territory. Daily activities include planning and executing sales strategies, monitoring channel performance, and ensuring effective merchandising and visibility of tekfoods products. The Area Sales Manager will regularly visit markets,



meet with trade partners, collect competitive insights, and report on sales performance and forecasts. The role also involves coordinating with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure smooth operations and timely execution of trade promotions.
Qualifications
• Strong sales and business development skills, including territory management, target achievement, and channel partner relationship-building
• Experience in FMCG or Food & Beverage sales, preferably handling distributors and modern/general trade in regional markets
• Ability to analyze sales data, track KPIs, and prepare concise reports and forecasts for management
• Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at different levels
• Hands-on approach, willingness to travel extensively within West Bengal, and comfort working in dynamic, quick-paced market environments
