About the Role
The candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing interior design projects from preliminary concept stage to completion. This role involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, managing project timelines, ensuring compliance with regulations, and developing innovative designs aligned with project objectives and client expectations. It exposes the Interior Designer to all stages of a project. Minimum work experience of 6 years.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for the general design, interior design input and technical management of the projects
• Complete the day-to-day executive work including design presentations, project management,
contract administration and project correspondences
• Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, managing project timelines, ensuring compliance with regulations, and developing innovative designs aligned with project objectives and client expectations
• Responsible to the Project Director/Associate Director and will liaise with the Associate/Architect and 3D Department, for projects where the Architect of the building is AWP
• Reports to ID Director on all design and technical matters.
• CAD or manual drafting of sketch and detailed construction drawings to comply with the various relevant authorities’ requirements.
• Liaising with vendors/suppliers’ representatives for ID materials, finishes, FF&E; specifications.
