Role Description The Business Development Executive role is a full-time, in office position based in the Greater Chennai Area. This role focuses on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for The Open Room, including researching potential clients, qualifying leads, and building a strong pipeline across architecture and edtech segments. The Business Development Executive will conduct outreach via calls, emails, meetings, and presentations,



nurture relationships with prospective and existing clients, and support negotiation and closing of deals. Daily tasks include collaborating with the leadership and design teams to align offerings with market needs, maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, preparing proposals and sales collateral, and tracking performance against business development targets. The role involves representing the studio at events and networking opportunities to grow brand visibility and strategic partnerships.
