Role: ServiceNow Developer( ITSM )

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
Must-Have
• Strong hands-on development experience across ServiceNow ITSM processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, Service Catalog, SLA and major incident workflows.
• Advanced ServiceNow scripting using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions and Scheduled Jobs, with disciplined debugging and performance optimization.
• Proven experience designing workflow automation through Flow Designer, subflows and reusable actions, while choosing configuration over customization wherever practical.
• Experience building secure REST/SOAP integrations using IntegrationHub, scripted APIs, authentication profiles, MID Server patterns, logging, retry and exception handling.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow security and data design, including roles, groups, ACLs, scoped applications, import sets, transform maps, CMDB dependencies and upgrade-safe engineering practices.




• Ability to translate functional requirements into technical designs, conduct peer reviews, prepare unit/ATF test evidence, support releases and troubleshoot complex production issues.

Positive-to-Have
• ServiceNow CSA is expected; CAD and/or CIS-ITSM certification is strongly preferred. ITIL Foundation certification is an advantage.
• Exposure to ITOM, Discovery, Service Mapping, CSDM/CMDB health, Virtual Agent, Now Assist, Performance Analytics or Service Portal/UI Builder.
• Experience with Agile delivery, source control, CI/CD, upgrade assessments, Automated Test Framework and customer-facing technical workshops.
