Role Description The Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, posting journal entries, and overseeing accounts payable and receivable. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies. The role also involves analyzing financial data, assisting with budgeting and forecasting,



and preparing reports for management decision-making. The Senior Accountant will collaborate with internal teams, support audits, and help implement process improvements to strengthen financial controls. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai.
Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
• Experience with account reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing, and audit support.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with the ability to work with large data sets.
• Ability to analyze financial information, prepare clear reports, and support budgeting and forecasting.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management capabilities.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
