Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist with hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to HR compliance, employee relations, grievance handling, POSH, employee engagement, and day-to-day HR operations.
The candidate will be responsible for managing employee-related matters at the plant/site and ensuring smooth implementation of HR policies, processes, and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations
• Manage day-to-day HR operations for the plant/workforce.
• Handle employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, documentation, transfers, confirmations, and exits.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Coordinate with payroll and other functions to ensure timely and accurate employee data.
Employee Relations
• Act as the first point of contact for employee-related concerns and workplace issues.
• Handle employee grievances professionally and ensure timely resolution.
• Support disciplinary processes, investigations, warning letters, and other employee relations matters.
• Build positive employee-management relations and support a healthy workplace culture.
• Conduct regular employee interactions and understand workforce concerns.
Compliance & Statutory Requirements
• Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements relevant to the manufacturing/plant environment.
• Maintain statutory registers, records, notices, and required documentation.
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders during labour-law audits and inspections.
• Support compliance related to contract labour and other workforce-related requirements.
