Key Responsibilities
• Analyze and prepare new requirements from diagnostic cross-sectional specifications, change requests, and complaints.
• Coordinate diagnostic sequence requirements with technical development, production, and customer service teams.
• Develop, adapt, and enhance diagnostic sequences (Java jobs).
• Coordinate interfaces between:
• Diagnostic sequences (Java jobs)
• ODX standard data
• Test/inspection systems (e.g., ODIS)
• Develop exemplary implementations and perform validation testing.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
• Min 4+ years of Strong experience in Java 8
• Experience developing Java jobs for MCD systems
• IntelliJ IDEA
• Gradle build system
• Install4J installer creation
• Jenkins (CI/CD pipelines)
• GitHub Enterprise Server & GitHub Actions
• Atlassian tools: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket
• Experience with Ant/Maven/Gradle.
• Eclipse and other IDEs.
• Strong knowledge in rezzzv3D (Version 3.0.0), ISO 14229
Good-to-Have Skills
• System & Platform Knowledge on XML, DOORS, Codebeamer, RDX/RAL knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with Volkswagen diagnostic Q-LAH standards.
• Document and visualize diagnostic sequences and test results.
• Provide technical support in committees and meetings.
• Create and manage tickets in JIRA and track change requests.
• Execute testing on VW Group MCD systems.
• Create test specifications and simulation files.
• Maintain and enhance Java job test stations.
Educational Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
