Application Engineer – NX (Mechanical Design)

Experience: 3 to 5 years

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Key Skills

• Strong proficiency in Siemens NX for mechanical design, 3D modeling, assembly, and drafting.
• Experience in mechanical component and tooling design using NX.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, machining, and tooling concepts.
• Basic knowledge of NX CAM, including toolpath generation and CNC machining processes.
• Valuable understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T;, and design standards.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and provide appropriate NX-based design solutions.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and customer-handling skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers using Siemens NX for mechanical design.
• Support customers in 3D modeling, assembly,



drafting, and tooling-related applications.
• Conduct NX product demonstrations and training sessions.
• Assist customers with NX implementation, deployment, and application-related issues.
• Provide basic support for NX CAM and manufacturing workflows.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable NX solutions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Travel to customer locations for training, demonstrations, implementation, and technical support.

Other Requirements

• Willingness to travel.
• Will be operating from customer location.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
