About the Role
PKC Management Consulting is looking for an experienced Direct Tax, Tax Audit & Statutory Audit Practice Leader to join our growing leadership team.
The role is suited for a qualified Chartered Accountant with 7+ years of relevant post-qualification experience in a CA firm or qualified consulting practice, with solid hands-on exposure to Statutory Audit, Tax Audit and Direct Tax.
The incumbent will lead complex client engagements, manage and mentor professional teams, build senior-level client relationships, and contribute to the continued growth of PKC’s Tax & Audit practice.
Important Eligibility
- 7+ years of relevant professional experience
- Prior experience in a CA firm / consulting practice is mandatory (Big 4 or mid-tier preferred)
- Candidates with experience exclusively in corporate/industry tax functions will not be considered
- CA qualification is preferred but not mandatory, subject to strong relevant experience
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Statutory Audit engagements for listed/unlisted companies and other entities.
- Lead and review Tax Audits, Form 3CD and Direct Tax compliance/advisory.
- Handle complex tax planning, structuring and tax opinions.
- Manage client relationships and act as a senior point of contact for CFOs, promoters and senior management.
- Lead, mentor and review teams while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Build a strong learning and performance-oriented culture within the practice.
- Contribute to business development and growth of PKC’s Tax & Audit practice.
- Manage multiple engagements, deadlines and client priorities effectively.
What We're Looking For
- Robust hands-on experience in Statutory Audit and Tax Audit.
- Good knowledge of Direct Tax, Income Tax, Form 3CD, Ind AS and Companies Act.
