The Position
Zenwork is looking for a qualified and experienced Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounts to join its Finance team in Hyderabad.
This role will be responsible for managing key accounting, financial reporting, taxation, statutory compliance and audit activities for Zenwork Digital India, while also providing accounting and reporting support to other Zenwork group entities, including US subsidiaries, as required.
The position will work closely with the Senior Finance Manager and various internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely financial closure, accurate reporting, solid financial controls and compliance with applicable accounting, tax and regulatory requirements, driving improvements in accounting processes, controls and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Monthly Financial Close
• Manage and coordinate the monthly financial closing process and ensure books of accounts are closed accurately and within defined timelines.
• Posting and Reviewing accounting entries, general ledger balances and supporting schedules as part of the monthly close.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, management reports and MIS.
• Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations, including bank, vendor, employee, statutory and other key accounts.
• Review accruals, provisions, prepaid expenses, fixed assets and other month-end accounting adjustments.
• Ensure appropriate accounting treatment in accordance with applicable Accounting Standards, company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain adequate documentation and supporting records for material accounting balances and transactions.
Financial Reporting & MIS
• Prepare monthly financial and management reports for review by the Finance leadership team.
