About the Role:
Pratt & Whitney, a Raytheon Technologies Company, is looking for a Frontend developer to join our Digital Technology (DT) Digital Manufacturing Applications team.
This individual will be involved in the delivery of developing, enhancing, and implementing software solutions within Pratt & Whitney’s enterprise Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions, as well as integrations with other enterprise products for our internal Operations customers. This role will support the development of web-based solutions, troubleshooting of problems related to PW’s MES, resolving systems integration and compatibility issues, and supporting the application life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain UI components in React (hooks, functional components); integrate with backend APIs; ensure responsive, cross-browser behavior
• Design and develop RESTful APIs using Python/FastAPI; implement business logic, data validation (Pydantic), and error handling
• Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL/SQL Server); write efficient queries; support schema design
• Deploy and support workloads on Azu
