CSZ India is hiring four Rebar Detailers in Chennai.

We are the Indian delivery arm of the CSZ group, working alongside our offices in Darmstadt, Germany and Calgary, Canada. Our team produces fabrication-ready rebar drawings, formwork drawings and 3D reinforcement models for concrete structures in Europe and North America, to Eurocode and ACI/CSA standards.

What you'll do
• Prepare reinforcement drawings, bar bending schedules and placing plans for concrete structures
• Prepare structural formwork drawings and layouts in AutoCAD
• Build 3D rebar models and extract drawing sheets
• Produce material take-offs
• Check your own drawings before QA review and work through reviewer and client comments
• Coordinate in English with engineering teams in Europe and North America

What you bring
• Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
• 1 to 5 years of experience in rebar detailing and structural formwork drawings for concrete structures. Freshers with solid AutoCAD skills and solid structural drawing reading are welcome to apply




• AutoCAD proficiency, plus working knowledge of at least one of SOFiCAD, RebarCAD, CADS RC or Autodesk Revit
• Sound grasp of cover, laps, anchorage and bar shapes
• Clear written English

Familiarity with Eurocode, BIM workflows, or European and North American projects is an advantage.
