Roles and Responsibilities:
• Design and implement the application security strategy throughout the SDLC.
• Manage and optimize SAST, DAST, and SCA tools for effective security coverage.
• Conduct secure architecture reviews and manual code reviews for high-risk services.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to remediate vulnerabilities and enhance security practices.
• Mentor developers on secure coding standards and practices.
Skills Required:
• 12-18 years of relevant experience in application security.
• Robust hands-on experience in software development with a focus on security.
• Expertise in SAST, DAST, and SCA tools.
• Solid understanding of OWASP Top 10 and secure design principles.
• Experience with threat modeling methodologies.
Good to Have:
• API development experience.
• Familiarity with .NET and Java.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Python.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
