Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant / Finance Manager to oversee the day-to-day financial operations, accounting, and compliance functions of our institution in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing tuition fee collections, managing vendor payments, preparing financial reports, assisting with internal/external audits, and ensuring adherence to statutory tax guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Management & Accounting

 Maintain daily books of accounts using accounting software (Tally / ERP / Campus Management Systems).

 Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Income & Expenditure Accounts, and Cash Flow statements.





 Manage accounts payable (vendor/supplier invoices, maintenance bills) and accounts receivable (fee collections, grants, donations).

 Perform regular bank reconciliations and track cash flow across multiple institutional bank accounts.

2. Fee Collection & Student Accounts

 Oversee student fee structures, tuition payment processing, hostel/transportation fees, and scholarship distributions.

 Monitor outstanding dues, generate collection reports, and coordinate with administrative departments to address fee defaults.

3. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

 Ensure strict compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations (GST, TDS, Qualified Tax, EPF, and ESI).

 Prepare and file periodic tax returns (GST, TDS) and coordinate with tax authorities as needed.
