Bank Branch Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Branch Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a bank branch. The Branch Manager will be responsible for business growth, customer service, team management, operational efficiency, compliance, and achievement of branch targets.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the overall operations of the bank branch.
- Drive branch business growth through deposits, loans, investments, insurance, and other banking products.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business and revenue targets.
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Lead, motivate, and monitor branch staff to achieve individual and team targets.
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints efficiently.
- Monitor branch sales performance and implement strategies to improve business.
- Ensure compliance with RBI regulations, internal banking policies, KYC/AML requirements, and audit standards.
- Monitor cash management, documentation, transactions,



and other operational activities.
- Identify business opportunities within the local market and develop customer acquisition strategies.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide guidance and training to team members.
- Coordinate with regional/zonal offices regarding branch operations and business objectives.
- Ensure proper risk management and maintain high standards of operational control.
- Prepare and submit required branch reports and performance updates.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Banking, Commerce, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Finance, Banking, or Management is an advantage.
- Relevant banking experience with proven team-management and business-development capabilities.
