Head Chef – Premium Vegetarian Restaurant

We are launching a new premium pure-vegetarian restaurant in Ahmedabad and are looking for an experienced, passionate and hands-on Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations.

About the RoleWe are looking for an all-rounder Head Chef with solid practical experience across multiple cuisines and the ability to maintain taste, quality, consistency, presentation and kitchen discipline.

CuisinesThe candidate should have professional experience in most/all of the following:

• Mexican

Pure vegetarian kitchen experience is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities• Lead and manage the complete kitchen operation.
• Prepare and execute dishes across multiple cuisines.
• Develop and standardise recipes, portions and presentation.
• Maintain consistent taste and quality across every service.
• Create and introduce innovative vegetarian dishes.
• Plan daily mise-en-place and kitchen production.




• Manage and train the kitchen team.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and food safety.
• Control food costs, wastage and portion sizes.
• Manage kitchen inventory and coordinate with vendors.
• Ensure smooth and timely service during lunch and dinner.
• Establish kitchen SOPs and maintain operational discipline.
• Work closely with management on menu development and continuous improvement.

We Are Looking For• 5+ years of professional (head chef) kitchen experience preferred.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of multiple cuisines.
• Proven experience managing a kitchen/team.
• Excellent understanding of food quality, consistency and presentation.
• Ability to work in a premium restaurant environment.
• Creative mindset with an interest in modern vegetarian cuisine.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Good understanding of food costing, inventory and wastage control.
