Job Responsibilities:
• Handle and monitor H₂, N₂ and Propane gas plants/systems, including gas supply, pressure, flow and consumption.
• Ensure uninterrupted availability of utilities required for downstream processing operations.
• Manage utilities such as compressed air, cooling water, ETP, STP, ZLD, process water, industrial gases, LPG/Propane and other plant utility systems.
• Monitor utility parameters, equipment performance and consumption during shifts.
• Coordinate with CGL/CRM/CCL production and maintenance teams for smooth line operations.
• Handle utility equipment breakdowns, troubleshooting and emergency situations.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs,
safety procedures, statutory requirements and best safety practices, particularly for gas handling systems.
• Maintain shift logbooks, operational records, utility consumption reports and breakdown reports.
• Lead utility operators/technicians and ensure effective manpower deployment during shifts.
Preferred Industry Experience:
• Candidates from steel manufacturing / downstream processing plants with experience in CGL, CRM, CCL or similar coated steel facilities.
• Solid hands-on exposure to H₂, N₂, Propane and other industrial gas/utility systems is highly preferred.
