Empanelment of FSMS Auditors for FSSAI Third Party Audits
CIIPL invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for empanelment as FSMS Auditors for FSSAI Third Party Food Safety Audits.
Eligibility Criteria as per FSSAI Auditor Manual:
1. Bachelor’s degree in any one of the following disciplines from a recognised university:
• Food Technology
• Dairy Technology
• Fisheries
• Oil Technology
• Biotechnology
• Agriculture
• Veterinary Sciences
• Biochemistry
• Microbiology
• Chemistry
• Hotel Management
• Catering Technology
2. Successful completion of an accredited Lead Auditor Course in Food Safety Management System (FSMS) ISO 22000.
3. Knowledge of the Food Safety and Standards Act, Rules and Regulations.
4. Sector-specific knowledge of food hygiene, sanitation, food processing, hazard identification, hazard analysis and control, contaminants and allergens.
5. Skilled full time Work Experience of Minimum 2 years in Food Industry.
6. Auditing Experience of Minimum 10 third-party audits (FSMS).
7. Sector-Specific Competence: -Candidates with relevant qualifications and experience in the following food industry sectors may apply:
• Dairy and Milk Products
• Meat and Poultry
• Fish and Fish Products
• Egg and Egg Products
• General Manufacturing
• Bakery Products
• Edible Oils
• Fruits and Vegetables
• Other applicable food business sectors, subject to sector-specific eligibility.
8. FSSAI Auditor Training : Candidates should have the FSSAI auditor training as a recognised auditor.
9. Preference will be given to professionals who are currently conducting Food Safety/FSMS audits with any certification, inspection, or auditing agency and have relevant sector-specific auditing experience.
