Reports To: Head – Training & Placement / Placement Manager
Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and organized Placement Coordinator to manage and coordinate placement activities between students, employers, and the institution. The role involves building solid relationships with companies, coordinating recruitment drives, supporting students throughout the placement process, and maintaining accurate placement records.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate end-to-end campus placement activities, including company registration, recruitment drives, interviews, and offer rollouts.
• Develop and maintain relationships with HR representatives, recruiters, and corporate partners.
• Identify and invite suitable companies for campus recruitment and placement opportunities.
• Coordinate job postings and communicate eligibility criteria, job descriptions, and recruitment schedules to students.
• Organize pre-placement talks, aptitude tests, group discussions, interviews, and other recruitment activities.
• Screen and shortlist student profiles based on company requirements.
• Maintain updated records of students, recruiters, placement offers, joining status, and placement statistics.
• Ensure smooth communication between students, faculty, management, and recruiting companies.
• Assist students with resumes, interview preparation, professional communication, and placement-related queries.
• Prepare regular placement reports and presentations for management.
• Ensure all placement activities comply with institutional policies and company requirements.
• Follow up with placed students and companies regarding joining dates and employment status.
