About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with proven expertise in US accounting standards (GAAP) and hands-on experience with a range of accounting software, including QuickBooks. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in financial reporting, month-end close, compliance, and managing complex transactions across multiple entities and currencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Compliance:
● Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations.
● Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes; ensure accurate and timely reporting.
● Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IRS regulations, and local state tax laws.
● Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
● Prepare and analyse financial statements, management reports, and ad hoc financial analyses.
● Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
● Support internal and external audits; ensure documentation is accurate and complete.
Software & Systems Management:
● Maintain accounting records using QuickBooks (Online & Desktop).
● Use other accounting and productivity tools such as:
○ NetSuite
○ Zoho Books
○ SAP Bus
