Role Description The Audit Assistant will support the audit team in planning and executing financial audits for clients, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, assisting in the preparation of audit reports, performing test checks, documenting audit findings, and maintaining organized working papers. The role also involves coordinating with clients to obtain necessary information, identifying variances or inconsistencies,



and supporting senior team members in finalizing audit deliverables. This is a full time, on-site role based in Rahuri.
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess skills in Financial Statements and Finance to understand, analyze, and interpret financial data.
• Candidates should possess skills in Financial Audits and Audit Reports to support audit planning, execution, and reporting.
• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to identify trends, discrepancies, and potential areas of risk.
• Relevant academic background in accounting, finance, commerce, or a related discipline.
• Basic knowledge of accounting standards, auditing principles, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other common office productivity tools.
• Attention to detail, time management, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Prior internship or experience in an audit or accounting firm is an advantage.
