Role & responsibilities

We are hiring an experienced Production Manager to lead our CNC machine shop operations. You will manage production teams, schedules, quality, and efficiency, and make sure customer delivery commitments are met. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with CNC/HMC/VMC/VTL/5-axis machining and has worked on high-precision and large-component jobs.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Lead, motivate, and manage production teams, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and handling disciplinary issues.
- Ensure production runs smoothly and efficiently while meeting quality standards and targets.
- Create and implement production schedules to meet customer delivery dates, maximizing resource utilization and minimizing costs.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials and other inputs for uninterrupted production.
- Improve efficiency, reduce waste, and raise product quality using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
- Manage the smooth transition of new products from development to full-scale production.
- Maintain a safe workplace by following all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Schedule regular inspections and repairs to minimize downtime and extend the life of production assets.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management.
- Monitor output, cycle times, rejection, rework,



and machine downtime.

Candidate Profile

- 15 years of production experience as a Manager or Assistant Manager in a CNC machine shop.
- Working knowledge of CNC, HMC, VMC, VTL, and 5-axis machining.
- Preferred: experience in high-precision machining and large-component machining (23 meters).
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, manufacturing processes, and production methodologies.
- Work analysis skills to evaluate machining operations, cycle times, manpower, machine capacity, tooling, and bottlenecks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead teams and develop production strategies.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with other departments.
