Role & responsibilities

- arry out routine and preventive electrical maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults in motors, control panels, pumps, conveyors, sensors, and other industrial equipment.
- Perform electrical wiring, cable termination, installation, and replacement work.
- Check and maintain electrical panels, MCCs, DBs, switches, MCBs, contactors, relays, and related components.
- Attend electrical breakdowns and restore equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor motors and electrical equipment for abnormal noise, heating, vibration, or other faults.
- Assist in installation and commissioning of recent electrical equipment and machinery.
- Maintain proper records of preventive maintenance and breakdown activities.
- Follow electrical safety procedures, PPE requirements, and plant safety standards.
- Ensure proper isolation/LOTO procedures before carrying out maintenance work.
