1. Perform comprehensive vision assessment, objective and subjective refraction, and prescribe spectacles.
2. Conduct routine ophthalmic investigations such as autorefractometry, Autokeratometry, tonometry
and A-scan as applicable.
3. Perform pre-operative and post-operative assessments and maintain proper clinical records.
4. Assist the ophthalmologist in OPD examination, patient evaluation and clinical procedures.
5. Maintain accurate patient records, investigation reports and documentation.
6. Ensure proper equipment handling, infection control and smooth patient flow.
7. Participate in eye camps, including refraction, spectacle prescription and patient assessment.
8. Assist with basic OT-related activities and patient preparation as required.
Candidate Expectations:
- Qualification: Diploma in Optometry / B.Optom
- Experience: Freshers and experienced candidates welcome
- Good practical knowledge of refraction and spectacle prescription
- Basic knowledge of ophthalmic diagnostics, pre/post-operative assessment and OT workflow
- Positive patient-handling and communication skills
- Kannada Essential; English
