We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer – Python, GenAI & LLM to join EPAM and work on building intelligent, scalable and production-ready AI solutions.

This is an exciting chance for professionals who enjoy working at the intersection of software engineering, Generative AI and emerging LLM technologies.

What you'll be working on:

- Develop and architect Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions
- Build intelligent agents and multi-agent workflows using modern AI frameworks
- Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Python
- Design and implement RAG and Agentic RAG solutions
- Work with LLMs, prompt engineering, tool/function calling and structured outputs
- Integrate LLMs with enterprise applications, APIs, databases and knowledge repositories
- Work with platforms such as Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock and Google Vertex AI




- Build solutions using vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB or Qdrant
- Evaluate and optimize AI/LLM application performance
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data and Design teams

What we're looking for:

- 7–12 years of relevant professional experience
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Hands-on experience in Generative AI and LLM-based application development
- Experience with Agentic AI and frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or Google ADK
- Strong understanding of RAG, LLM orchestration and prompt engineering
- Experience working with leading LLMs such as OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini or open-source models
- Experience with REST/gRPC APIs, FastAPI/Flask, asynchronous programming and Docker
- Experience with cloud AI platforms and vector databases
- Strong system design, architecture and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
