Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced VMC Programmer cum Operator with strong hands-on experience in VMC programming, Fanuc controllers and Delcam/PowerMill. The candidate should be capable of independently handling CNC programming, machine setup and operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and optimize VMC programs using Fanuc controllers and Delcam/PowerMill.
- Set up and operate VMC machines and perform tool/work offsets.
- Read and interpret 2D engineering drawings and 3D models.
- Develop efficient tool paths and optimize machining processes.
- Troubleshoot programming and machining issues.
- Coordinate with the production/tool-room team to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Maintain proper records of CNC programs, tools and machining processes.
Required Skills
- VMC Programming & Operation Mandatory
- Fanuc Controller – Mandatory
- Delcam/PowerMill – Mandatory/Preferred
- Positive knowledge of CNC machining, tool paths and cutting parameters.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of NX/UG/SolidWorks will be an added advantage.
- Good problem-solving and attention to detail.
Qualification
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant VMC programming and operating experience.
Preferred Candidate
Candidates who can independently handle Programming + Setting + VMC Operation and have practical experience with Fanuc and Delcam/PowerMill are preferred.
