I) Buyer (Forging & Machining)

Engineer / Sr. Engineer Parts Purchasing

Key Responsibilities:

- Cost negotiation for forging and machining components.
- RFQ management, supplier evaluation, and localization activities.
- EO change implementation and VA/VE management.
- Cost reduction through process study and value engineering.
- Price change management related to RM, forex, and process variations.
- PO release and approval coordination.
- Supplier onboarding and TCI management.
- Business plan support, CapEx monitoring, and expense control.
- Zero-Based Costing and cost analysis.

Requirements:

- BE/ B.Tech (Mechanical / Automobile / Production).
- 3-8 years of experience in Automotive Parts Purchasing.
- Strong exposure to Forging & Machining commodities.
- Experience in cost negotiation, localization, supplier management, and cost reduction initiatives.

II) Supplier Management

Engineer / Sr. Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor supplier tool life performance and ensure process stability.
- Drive CAPA implementation and effectiveness verification.




- Manage 4M and Engineering Order (EO) change initiation, approvals, and execution.
- Develop and qualify alternate/dual source suppliers.
- Conduct process studies and drive cost reduction initiatives.
- Coordinate 4M/EO PPAP audits with SQA teams.
- Initiate and manage deviations for non-conforming dimensions.
- Coordinate with PPC, IQC, and Production for fitment trials.
- Collaborate with QA and R&D; for validation and reliability testing.
- Review technical requirements and SORs with suppliers.

Requirements:

- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Automobile, or related disciplines.
- 3 to 8 years of experience in Supplier Management / Supplier Development.
- Solid knowledge of PPAP, APQP, 4M Changes, EO Management, and Manufacturing Processes.
- Experience in supplier audits, dual-source development, and cost reduction projects.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
