Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Python Automation Tester with strong expertise in Python, Selenium, and Test Automation Framework Development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation test frameworks and scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery. The candidate should have hands-on experience with web application testing, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Selenium WebDriver.
- Build and enhance automation frameworks using PyTest, Unittest, or Robot Framework.
- Develop reusable libraries and utilities for automation testing.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test automation.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for issue resolution.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- Perform API testing and validation using Python libraries and tools.
- Create and maintain test documentation, reports, and automation metrics.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

- Strong programming expertise in Python.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver.




- Experience in automation framework development from scratch.
- Strong knowledge of PyTest / Unittest / Robot Framework.
- Experience with API Testing using Requests, Postman, or REST APIs.
- Familiarity with Page Object Model (POM) and Data-Driven Frameworks.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with SQL and database validation.
- Solid understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.

Good-to-Have Skills

- Playwright with Python.
- Docker and Kubernetes.
- Cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Performance testing tools like JMeter.
- BDD frameworks such as Behave or Cucumber.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in QA Automation Testing.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
- Ability to work independently and drive automation initiatives.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Robust analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Prior experience in leading automation testing efforts for enterprise applications.
