Job Title: Ab Initio Administrator

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Ab Initio Administrator with 3-5 years of experience in administering and supporting Ab Initio environments. The candidate will be responsible for installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the Ab Initio platform while ensuring system stability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and maintain Ab Initio components such as:
- Co>Operating System (Co>Op)
- Enterprise Meta Environment (EME)
- Conduct>It
- Control Center
- Continuous Flows

- Manage Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
- Monitor platform health and perform performance tuning activities.
- Administer EME repositories, user roles, permissions, and security.
- Troubleshoot Ab Initio application and infrastructure-related issues.
- Support code migrations and deployments across environments.
- Work closely with ETL developers, DBAs, infrastructure, and support teams.




- Perform system upgrades, patching, and environment maintenance.
- Create operational documentation, support guides, and runbooks.
- Participate in production support activities and incident management.
- Ensure backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures are implemented.

Required Skills

- 3-5 years of experience in Ab Initio Administration.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Ab Initio Co>Operating System
- EME Administration
- Conduct>It
- Control Center

- Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix environments.
- Knowledge of Shell Scripting (Bash/Korn Shell).
- Experience with scheduling tools such as Control-M, Autosys, or Cron.
- Understanding of ETL concepts and Data Warehousing.
- Experience in application deployment, migration, and setting management.
- Strong troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance tuning skills.
- Knowledge of user access management and security administration.
