Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Assistant Professor / Faculty – Business Communication & Personality Development (PDP) to join our academic team.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in teaching Business Communication, Communication Skills, Soft Skills, Personality Development, and Employability Skills to undergraduate/postgraduate students.

The candidate should be passionate about student development and capable of preparing students for professional communication, placements, interviews, group discussions, presentations, and corporate environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Business Communication, Professional Communication, Communication Skills and PDP to undergraduate/postgraduate students.
- Conduct interactive classroom sessions, activities, presentations, role plays, and practical exercises.
- Train students in:
- Business & Professional Communication
- Verbal and Written Communication
- Public Speaking & Presentation Skills
- Group Discussions (GD)
- Personal Interviews (PI)
- Soft Skills & Employability Skills
- Personality Development
- Workplace & Corporate Etiquette
- Resume/CV and Email Writing
- Leadership, Teamwork & Interpersonal Skills

- Conduct mock interviews, GDs, presentations, and other placement-readiness activities.




- Assess students' communication skills and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, assignments, assessments, and training modules.
- Mentor students and support their overall professional development.
- Participate in academic meetings, seminars, workshops, and institutional activities.
- Contribute to curriculum development and other departmental initiatives.

Eligibility / Mandatory Qualification

Candidates must meet at least one of the following:

- Ph.D. in English, Communication, Linguistics, Management, Education, or a relevant discipline from a recognized university/institution; OR
- UGC-NET qualified in English / Communication / Management / relevant subject.

Ph.D. or UGC-NET qualification is mandatory.

Mandatory Experience

- Prior experience in teaching Business Communication / Communication Skills / Soft Skills / Personality Development is required.
- Experience teaching college/university students will be strongly preferred.
- Candidates with experience in placement training, employability skills, GD/PI training, corporate communication, or professional-skills development will be preferred.

Preferred Skills

- Excellent command of English language and communication.
- Strong presentation and public-speaking skills.




- Excellent classroom management and student engagement abilities.
- Ability to conduct activity-based and experiential learning.
- Strong interpersonal and mentoring skills.
- Knowledge of current industry expectations and employability requirements.

Experience

4–5 years of relevant teaching/training experience preferred.

Candidates with robust relevant university/college teaching experience will be given preference.
